"Light in the Tunnel" came about with the COVID pandemic lockdown in March 2020. My son Chi was out of school and I was much out of work. So, I suggested we have "Music Practice" twice a week, Chi playing keyboard and percussion and I acoustic guitar. We began with developing the piece "Light in the Tunnel" and went from there, "Graduation 2020" (Chi graduated from elementary school) and then "Three Treasures". When school started up in September we stopped the "Music Practice", but I continued my own daily practice with "Blues for COVID", "Zen Dogen" and "zazen groove".
